Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo, CESE, the newly appointed Regional Director of the Commission on Higher Education, National Capital Region (CHED-NCR). Atty. Domingo has held key leadership positions within the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), serving as Director in various regional offices. In addition to his current role as Director for NCR, he was appointed as the Regional Director for CHED Region IX in 2025 and previously served as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) for CHED Region II in 2023
As a Career Executive Service Eligible (CESE) professional, Domingo has passed the required examinations and received certification for top-level government service in the Philippines. Before his regional director appointments, he worked at the CHED national office as the chief of the investigation and enforcement division for the legal and legislative service, a position he held since 2014.
In his capacity as regional director, he has actively conducted campus consultations and meetings with officials from various state colleges and universities to address higher education concerns. Throughout his tenure, Domingo has also been involved in fostering regional collaborations, as well as organizing sports and socio-cultural events to promote and enhance the quality of higher education.
